Quinta Villa Lake

The challenge of this visualisation was to balance the residential scale of the development with the quiet atmosphere of the surrounding landscape. Set beside the lake, the project was approached as an extension of the territory, clear volumes, low vegetation, and a constant dialogue between architecture, water and sky.

The visual approach sought to reinforce this sense of openness and tranquillity. The framings explore the intense Algarve light and the way it travels across mineral surfaces throughout the day, creating soft contrasts and deep shadows in the balconies and facade recesses.

The landscape composition played a central role in the image narrative. Water acts as an element of reflection and visual breathing space, while Mediterranean vegetation softens the geometry of the buildings and brings the development closer to the natural language of Quinta do Lago.

In the exterior spaces, the intention was to avoid over-dramatisation. Instead, the images favour silence, scale and habitability, conveying the idea of a development designed for living outdoors with calm, light and spatial continuity.
